Rishta for overseas Pakistanis
Looking for a rishta across countries? Discuss current residence, family involvement, time differences and plans after marriage.
Show where you live now
List your current city and country. You can mention your family’s hometown separately in your introduction. Living abroad, holding nationality and planning to move are different things; explain your situation clearly.
Agree on a suitable time to talk
Share a few times that work in both countries and confirm whose local time you mean. Take work, study and family routines into account. A delayed reply or missed late-night call may simply be due to the time difference.
Discuss where you would live after marriage
Talk about who would move, whether the move is only a possibility, and what would happen if it takes longer than expected. Discuss employment, study, housing and support for parents before making commitments.
Include family across countries
Agree on when and how to introduce families. If a relative is managing the profile, say so. Give the two people considering marriage enough time to ask their own questions and make their own decision.
Does Hamsar arrange visas?
No. Hamsar does not arrange visas or guarantee immigration approval. Check information with the relevant government authority or a qualified adviser. Do not share passport scans in an early chat or pay a member who promises to arrange a visa.
These notes are general guidance for families. For a religious ruling, legal advice, or immigration advice, please speak with someone you trust in that field.
